back to basics.

lesson of today is if you cannot handle the basics of any task in front of you then you shouldnt try to do something that is on a higher level.

culinary-wise... don't go cheffin up a molecularly modified scallop if you havent a clue on where a scallop comes from in the first place. end of story.

another lesson that was learned today is if you don't pay attention you might miss that huge chiplet of bone in your soup. and then some poor unsuspecting culinarian comes along bites down on it and hurts his tooth. it really did hurt.
