hail to the new year

mission today was to find a vinyl record shop in order to buy a record player and some newer tunes.

mission failed :(

but i did find many other treats that i thought were not around.

best buy
books-a-million
starbucks
pac sunwear
and a new slew of wal-marts to destroy

to all those people.

last night after work i was sitting around relaxin watchin some SNL (w kings of elon and emma stone)
when the weather report came on.
now  at this point i tune it out and just wait until the progam comes back on however guess who shows ..>>>up. robert van winkle the old weather man for NBC 29 in charlottesville va.
how can i move away from there all those years ago and then see this man on my tv.
dash.. i felt like a big case of deja vu.

never have i worked in a kitchen where it becomes a full contact sport.

i was burned, elbowed, smacked in the head and tripped today.

a walk in the park

today being christmas it was about 73 degress outside. did i get to enjoy it>>>> nope.
i was at work at 7am this morning and worked straight thru until 10pm this evening
the amount of covers was about 400 people and i was on the Pompano dish.
i didnt do as much as the beef but it was still quite busy. sometimes putting up 7 plates at a time.
it was a successfull day and everything went smoothly.

what i wanted for christmas

CORN-ROWS. yes you may say it's odd. you may give me that funny look you're feeling right now. but just go ahead and think about it for a minute. i would look super cool with corn rows shining on my head.

christmas eve is upon me here in florida. spent most of today talking back and forth with the ole family members. 70 degree christmas' are awesome.

the 5 cycle menu began and we have been doing lots of covers everynight for service. luckily tonight i am off and left to my own.

Lunar Eclipse/Winter Solstice

I saw it. thats right. sat out on the beach from 1:15am to 2:45 watched the whole cycle unfold. saw some shooting stars. and was asked if i had seen the sweet baby jesus in a manger float by ..by the security guards of the island. Great night to be alive
